Matilda Finnegan meets up with an old acquaintance . A handsome six foot sexy blue-green eyes charming man. Romance blooms. Adventure beckons. The story is about outcasts from a nearby planet finding refuge on Earth. Their obstacles and their romances.
At one time the little planet of Solana was a world of endless conflict and war. Life was difficult for everyone. One day their progressive and powerful scientists found a solution to a problem that seemed endless. They would create a peaceful planet. They had a powerful tool in their arsenal. It was called the BlueStone gene.
The entire population was tired of the wars. There was thirty thousand of them. They all agreed to the solution. It seemed like an easy answer to their problem. Every one of them lined up and held out his arm to be “vaccinated” with the BlueStone gene. Over time life on Solana gradually changed. The gene worked. Peace came to Solana for many centuries. Every citizen on Solana thought he was the same as every other citizen. They were equal. A good feeling. Peace and goodwill infused the society. It was a good place to be. Then a strange thing happened. The gene mutated.
It happened slowly. It took a while for someone to notice. Then one day when several mothers were having a playdate in the park with their babies, they noticed. One of the babies levitated one of the other babies. The baby cried out in fear as he moved up into the air. The baby who was doing the levitating giggled in surprise. He sent the airborne baby into slow wide summersaults which made the airborne baby’s crying turn into screeches. The mothers were horrified. They each snatched their own baby, opened their own portal and went home. So began the stories about mutant BlueStone. The baby doing the levitating became Ahmed, the first mutant BlueStone and the oldest.
As there were more incidents, more people saw the mutants as a problem. Those who were mutant BlueStone were feeling less safe. That is when the migration to Earth started. Ahmed cane as a scientist. Bertrand as an adventurer. Isabella as a romantic in Santa Fe. They were the early ones. No one on Earth noticed them. Later Matilda’s parents arrived in Albuquerque. Thomas’ parents moved to Colorado Springs. Both sets of parents were eventually murdered by Cyrus Pettibone. He was determined to eliminate all the mutant BlueStone.
Bertrand spent a lot of time in America during the 1800’s. He loved Wisconsin and Minnesota. Green forests and lakes. He loved catching his dinner and cooking it over an open fire. Sometimes he had company. Mostly friendly. He bought property. Land in Wisconsin for his home. Land in Minnesota for a colony for his Solana refugees. America is a strange land with complicated rules. Bertrand would never understand either. He had Androids for that.
Matilda was born in Albuquerque. Bertrand saved her from the wrath of Cyrus Pettibone when he murdered her parents. She was raised by Martha Love. She learned languages easily. When she was a teenager she learned more. She learned about summoning portals. She found telepathy and telekinesis handy tools. She wrote stories about her adventures with her best friend Archie via portals. They were best sellers in the teen book market. She was a very powerful mutant BlueStone.
Her next adventure was as a member of the CIA in Baghdad. She spoke seven languages. She eventually opened a bookstore in a center with her CIA friends. Life was good.
Bertrand reappeared in her life. He knew she was a powerful mutant BlueStone as was he. He needed her help to save mutant BlueStone on Earth and to establish a secret colony in Minnesota.
When he saw her and their hands touched, their magic connected. Was it a surprise? Maybe not. The next adventure in the story starts here in Chapter one. Matilda and her Alien written by Mary J Mann.
The story starts on Solana as Bertrand prepares for another trip to Earth. As he mentions he is almost out of Starbucks French Roast. He visits Matilda in Albuquerque, and their adventure begins.
