Solana is a green planet in a small galaxy next to the Milkey Way. Scientists on Earth have not been able to detect these small planets with their telescopes. Maybe they just don’t want to realize aliens are so close to home.
Solana had a stable population of about 30,000. The politics of the little planet was rocky in spite of the fact that the people on Solana were scientifically advanced. A group of scientists determined that if a new gene , called the BlueStone gene was inserted into each person, the planet would become peaceful. The citizens agreed. They all lined up and held out their arms to be inoculated. Amazingly, it worked. The citizens became peaceful. They felt equal to each other. All was well for centuries.
Then something changed. The BlueStone gene mutated. The citizens with the mutated gene were different. The problems started with the babies. Those with the mutant BlueStone gene could levitate those babies without the mutated gene. Fear and anger erupted from the mothers without the gene. The community gathered together to rid themselves of the mutant BlueStone. It began slowly and then gradually icked up steam. It became an aggressive anti- mutant BlueStone campaign.
Over time, many of those with the mutant BlueStone gene migrated to Earth. Ahmed is the first mutant BlueStone. Followed by Bertrand, an adventurer and Isabella who lived in Santa Fe. They loved their adventures. Bertrand still love Solana. His childhood friend, Sam, was the Prime Minister and managed the country. As time passed Sam created more policies that were anti mutant BlueStone even though he was one himself.
There were many mutant BlueStone who had not developed their skills. They were unable to leave Solana. Eventually they were tested, rounded up, used in an experiment or sent to Granville as slave labor in the meat packing plant.
Bertrand was surprised to learn just how many mutant BlueStone there were. His colony under the dome in Minnesota could conceal a community of five hundred. After that they would expand. Thomas liked to lead incursions into Granville to save mutant BlueStone from the furnace in the meatpacking plant basement. This was where they were tossed when they could not work anymore.
