Thomas Mann

Thomas Mann is full of a certain kind of energy you only have if you were born mutant BlueStone and were raised mostly in Colorado Springs. Like Matilda’s parents, Thomas’ mom and dad realized their home planet of Solana might not be safe for their children. They moved to Colorado Springs where Thomas was born, Went to school. Was happy to learn the magic of the regular visitors. Was grief stricken when his parents and the visitors were murdered by Cyrus Pettibone. Bertrand took Thomas under his wing. He finished school on Solana. Became an engineer at New Mexico University. He became a pilot. He loved flying. There were no airplanes on Solana. They didn’t need them. Portals were so much easier.

Thomas had a secret. His secret was his secret love affair when he was a teenager. The affair  was with Bethany. She was a visitor to his parents home in Colorado Springs. She had taught him many things sexual and otherwise. She was his age. How did she learn so much? She was so young.  Bethany was his love of a lifetime. When he found her dead in his parents’ house, he was broken hearted. He vowed never to love again.

He returned to Solana to learn mutant BlueStone skills from the expert Jasmine. While he was on Solana, he had a heart to heart with his old teacher, Professor Quincy who suggested that it was time to help Bertrand save the mutant BlueStone and build Solana’s colony on Earth. He knew the Professor was right. It was time to commit to Bertrand’s plan of a secret colony on Earth. Thomas became Bertrand’ s partner in crime, his right hand man.

Thomas knew Bertrand possessed magic. Bertrand also possessed dark magic. That could be scary. Thomas had a magic that was more utilitarian. When he was hungry, he thought about what he would like to eat and drink. It would appear before him. If he needed a change of clothing, all he had to do was think of what he wanted to wear. Easy. Peasy.  As his magic grew, Thomas became stronger. He knew the colony would need his style of magic. Would it be dark magic? He really wasn’t sure.
